[ Overview ]

Experience Counts.

We are a CNC machine shop that design and make critical engineering parts and assemblies for a wide range of customers from large processors and manufacturers, to smaller specialist industries throughout New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific and United States. One-off designs are our specialty.

Our CNC precision engineering workshop offers turning, cylindrical and CNC surface grinding, gear cutting, milling, broaching, EDM wire cutting, multitasking and 5-axis machining with robot loading and CMM capability to give assurance of our quality. This sits alongside a full engineering design and contract manufacturing service.

With the purchase of Eric Paton Limited’s stock and IP, we now stock and produce high quality woodcutters and heads, branding irons and indent wheels that are sent all over New Zealand and Australia. From factory to workshop and bee keeping to wine making, our woodcutter and branding products are used in a wide range of industries.

We also work with R&D teams, low volume manufacturers, inventors and start-up companies involved in the development and use of new and high tech equipment to bring new products to market.

We have 50 years of experience, a detailed understanding of modern manufacturing theory and practices and a focus on new technology. We continually seek to explore new ideas and form productive partnerships with like-minded businesses.

We Can Precision Engineering provide full engineering design and contract manufacturing service and can produce complex custom parts with a fast turnaround.

Specialist Services

Machinery

For the manufacture of complex parts involving a combination of turning, milling, hobbing and three dimensional profiling, we use multitasking and five-axis machines.

Software

Our Solidworks based Cam system significantly reduces time from design to production, eliminates errors, and is more repeatable and accurate than traditional practices.

Processes

We Can’s continuing investment in M1, our ERP software, allows us to manage and track every aspect of a job from the first enquiry to the final invoice.
